IDAERO joins as sponsor for the unveiling of the MFT05, the new single-seater by MAD Formula Team

 

On June 18, Idaero Solutions had the honor of attending the unveiling of the MFT05, the new single-seater by MAD Formula Team, as an official sponsor. The event, full of excitement and anticipation, marked the official start of a new and ambitious season for one of the most prominent teams in the European Formula Student scene.

The event was attended by academic authorities such as Ángel Arias, Rector of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Miguel Ángel Recuenco, Mayor of Leganés, as well as former team members and collaborators. They all witnessed the result of over a year of intense work: a fully redesigned single-seater developed with the goal of surpassing the impressive achievements of the previous season, which ended with 21 international podiums, including 11 overall victories.

 

At Idaero, we are especially proud to support this project through our NaxTo software, an advanced and comprehensive suite for FEM post-processing. We provide the team with professional licenses, specialized training, and continuous technical support. Our collaboration aims to enhance the team's technical development and boost its capacity for innovation in key areas such as advanced simulation.

The unveiling of the MFT05 showcased the talent, passion, and commitment of more than 80 students, organized into departments covering everything from aerodynamics and mechanical design to electronics and control systems. The highlight of the event was a cinematic video followed by the grand reveal of the new vehicle—an embodiment of the team’s collective effort and the competitive spirit that defines MAD Formula Team.

Being part of this journey alongside MAD Formula Team allows us not only to support young talent, but also to continue fostering technical excellence and innovation within the academic environment.
